Rochester Jr. Amerks Branding Campaign
Technically Speaking | Fall 2024 – Spring 2025
Social Media and Promotion
As part of my ad agency course, Technically Speaking, my team was asked by the Rochester Jr. Amerks to help promote their entire girls hockey program. We fully took over the organization’s Instagram, creating and scheduling posts that highlighted players, teams, and upcoming opportunities. Alongside the social campaign, we developed a brand video from the ground up—handling everything from storyboarding and scripting to shooting and editing.
I served as the project manager for the video, overseeing production timelines, coordinating responsibilities, and helping guide the creative direction. I also edited the final voiceover script to match the tone and flow of the visuals. For the social campaign, I co-wrote copy for posts and captions while also helping shoot content for both social or video use.

Social Media and Promotion
Alongside our social and video efforts, I also worked on the team responsible for rebranding the Jr. Amerks’ Intro to Hockey materials. We developed a brochure outlining the organization’s team structure and player development programs, a comprehensive orientation packet for new families, and a one-pager designed to wrap up the season and encourage continued involvement.
I served as the primary copywriter for all three pieces, working closely with our design team to ensure each material clearly communicated key information while maintaining a consistent tone and visual identity. The content was crafted to reflect the Jr. Amerks’ core values— player development, promoting hockey as a sport for every kid and emphasizing the importance of having fun both on and off the ice.
